My understanding of the Caller ID Table (Programs 110-111) is that if an incoming call has caller ID, and matches a number in the Caller ID Code Set, then the corresponding Caller ID Name is displayed instead of whatever info the Caller ID carries.
However, all of my incoming calls just display the calling number, and whatever else the telco sends (usually "Out Of Area")! Am I missing something? What format should the Caller ID codes be stored in- with hyphens, no hyphens, etc. etc.? I've tried various combinations, but the system appears to ignore the tables completely! And yes, Program 406 is set to enable the lines. Thanks!
