Ross:

Believe it or not, I have one customer with a dual-cabinet TD1232 who
insists on non-speakerphones. They're real privacy fanatics who like to use
on-hook dialing, but don't want any chance of office conversations being
heard at the other end. They argue that it's too easy for them to forget to
mute the microphone. Other than to modify the digital sets by disconnecting
the microphone (I haven't tried this - would it cause other issues?), there
is no current digital set without a speakerphone. It might be nice if there
was a program setting to disable the built-in microphone on a
station-by-station basis.

Yes you can plug in the 7030 and 7050. Make sure that you have the xdp
feature turned off for each station port that has these phones plugged
in. I wondered why people had the 7050 phone. As far as I am concerned
the 7050 set phone was useless.
