Hey all. Been on hiatus from this topic for a few weeks, but the
behavior is still occurring. Recap:

Been getting disconnects on our line 4, which is automatically forwarded
to our TVS-50 and is used as an incoming AA line. Users are reporting
that the disconnects occur between 1 and 4 minutes into the call.

I have not been able to track down any other similarities, other than
the calls all appear to be on the same line.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what to do in order to track it down?
Am I looking at possibly a hardware (phoneline) failure?

Also, the incoming phone lines go through a power-strip/surge supressor
which is also designed to suppress CO surges into the system (in other
words, all CO lines are coming into this strip for supression). This
power strip is hung directly off of a UPS.

Thanks!

Further info (hey! I'm sharing as I discover it :D).

Late last night I was working w/ a co-worker. I've got two lines that
go straight to the AA. When calling the first line in the AA, there
were the strange disconnect after roughly 4 minutes.

Calling the 2nd line didn't seem to indicate any such issues.

I get in this morning, and discover that one of the wires was caught
underneath the upper plastic housing. It must have been this way for 3+
months (since I replaced/upgraded the conference chip).

Since it is obviously physically mangled, this is my *first* guess as to
what the issue is. Unfortunately I cannot do anything about it at this
time, because we are open for normal business hours.

If the problem persists after I replace this cable, I will let you guys
and ladies know.

Thanks!

Just as a follow-up. I just experienced this twice. The calls came
through the auto attendent (tvs50).

Thanks!

Today we've been seeing an alarming number of disconnects, mostly from a
single user (although one other person reported this as well).

I was wondering what I should do to try and track this down. I do have
another digital set that I could use, however I don't even know if it is
that repeatable.

Thanks for any advice you can give
