We have a client that has an 816-5 and TVS50 vers. 1 that wants to set all the mailboxes up so if a caller zero's out (dials zero during outgoing message) they will be sent back to the main menu which is custom 1. We have tried entering x 165 as covering extension but the caller hears sorry this extension is busy and then the busy message of the original mailbox. We also tried x 116 (Vmail ext port) but this does not work either. My last idea is to set the covering extension to a non used XDP port which is forwarded to voice mail but has no mailbox. This will require a site visit to test because we no longer have a TD816 in house. Has anyone done a similar setup?
