This issue has been hashed out in the past and the previous conclusion in this group was that the problem was a bad oscillator, but now I think that is unlikely. Nobody confirmed that replacing the oscillator fixed the problem.
I've got two KX-TD1232 systems that were in a dual cabinet configuration until January 1 2004. I recently got them out of storage and found that the first system powered up OK, setup paramaters in tact, but clock stuck on February 14. The second system powered up likewise, but was stuck on February 5. Seems like both clocks kept up (on battery) for a while, then died. These systems are probably 4 to 6 years old. Any suggestions about how to get the clock started again?
