Actually, after I did an update to our switch using Programmagravator (like the name) which caused our receptionist to lose the ability to do VM transfers, I only use it in read-only mode.

Do have any experience with the Panasonic software, or do you just use a phone with a display?

Thanks,

John

sounds like the incomplete handling is set to go to external paging. I use that for supervisors extensions in warehouse and manufacturing areas. It has to do with the Voicemail handling the call. (supervised) It will not happen with a manually transferred call unless the ext has his station call forwarding set to VMail...... Look in the mailbox of that station... Then again? I may be wrong? You did say you are using Programaggravator" for programming & anything may be possible!

Subject: KX-T: "Back door" calls are paged rather than ring through on one extension...

We've got a weird problem.

We have a pair of CO lines set up as a "back door" -- they always go to the Auto-Attendant rather than to the receptionist.

When someone calls the back door, and rings for one specific extension, the phone system pages people with a somewhat unintelligible message about "on call for" or something like that, rather than simply ringing the desired extension.

Other extensions work fine.

That extension's voice-mail mailbox is full, but that shouldn't stop a call from going through to that extension up front, should it?

I can't see anything in the Programmator settings for the extension that would make it look significantly different from any other extension.

Any thoughts out there????

Thanks,

John Francini
