I have a Dash-3 KXTD-1232 but need to go to 4 door boxes and door strike release from 2 presently. I understand that I need the KX-TD161 and Dash-5 or above software ROM. My questions are:
1) Is all I need the KX-TD161 module and Dash-5 ROMS? 2) Will the KX-TD161 fit in my cabinet in the same space as the 2 door phone model? 3) Can the Dash-3 be upgraded to a Dash-5 or above with only a ROM replacement or do I need a new CPU board or more? 4) Where is the best place to buy the ROMs? My distributor doesn't carry them. Thanks!
