Ok...then I have another question I guess. How do I set an extension to
actually forward to voicemail? This sounds trivial, but I can't get it
for the life of me! I tried to setup call forwarding on one station (at
the station) for non-answers, but where do I set the number of rings?
Also, do I have to do this at EACH station? Because that then would be
a royal pain since I'd need to take a phone and punch it to each of the
3 'fake extensions' that will be just forwarding the CO groups to voice
mail, and waste 3 phones.

Thanks a million,

Sounds like you got it. If you don't have a vm w/ trunk service, 1:1 to
ext (xdp is ok),then fwd to vm box.

Hi all. Forgive me if I seem a little ignorant, but this is the
first time I've setup a voice mail system. I'm hitting a mental block
and cannot figure out how to do this. I'm trying to install the TVS100
in my office, and would like each person to have their own mailbox, as
well as a mailbox for 4 CO lines, a different one for 3 CO lines, and a
different one for 2 CO lines. I THINK I would have to make 3 extensions
on the PBX (KX-TD1232), each of which will ring for the correct CO
lines, then assign those extensions to their own mailboxes and add the
correct buttons on the phones that need to get to those boxes. Is there
an easier way to do this, or am I just correct in thinking this seams
like a little weird doing it like this?

Thanks,
