Caller Id is not supported on the 1232-E on any ROM version - this is only supported on 1232 [US version] and not the -E version. They are different hardware [!]. This has been confirmed by Panasonic support.
I have 11130821 [v6] ROMs in my 1232E - let me know what to try and I will try executive override for you - it is not in my manuals so give me the steps and I will test it. I can tell you that it is not supported from DECT - but dont know how to try it from a station phone.

P.S. In the UK it is easier to ignore the ROMs and look for the number on the bottom of the 1232. The ROM version is on a round sticker on its own with a single digit number.

All,
I left my house in Pleasant Valley, NY at 12pm Monday and landed at Heathrow UK 7am Tuesday and arrived on a Panasonic install at 10am---I'm still going---Here is my plight:
Caller id or CLIP Call Line Identification Presentation does not work for the analogue loop start POTS lines--It appears that this feature is for ISDN only?
Executive override does not exist---We want to barge in on an active CO line from any phone??? DND override does not work for this type of access.
Can I get new Euro ROMS that may carry these features?
Any ideas---I'm a long way from home...
