Re: KX-T: Executive Overrde=Intrude

Steps 505 & 506 do not exist to program busy intrusion use the following steps:

990 Area 2 Bit 3 turn off conf tone for conference call

991 COS * Bit 6 to enable call intrusion

Ring Busy extension press 3

To be undetected must dial handsfree having pressed mute

To intrude openly on call repress mute or off hook

Re: Versions of KXTD

WARNING: Different versions exist in different countries and the modules may not be compatible - in fact some definitely are not - I use both 1232 and 1232E and the 4 CO modules are completely different. The 1232 does not support the 8 line CO module. The 1232E does not support the plug in door modules but has two door interfaces built in. The 1232E does not support caller ID on CO lines, and so on and so on....

Make sure you get the feature you want in the country you are going to use the KXTD and that you can get spare modules for whichever type be it KXTD1232 or 1232E easily.

Yours,

Graham
