Howdy, guys. Wondering if anyone has some thoughts on this: I have a VOIP gateway (Telco Systems AC211) which thinks the 1232 is off-hook for days at a time, when of course it's not. A 2500 set works fine on the same gateway.
All I can think is that the gateway may not be pumping out enough current for the 1232 to accurately recognize on/off-hook status. I've been told by Telco Systems that they believe the gateway puts out 48V at about 20 mA. Is that enough? The VOIP provider (Sunrocket) doesn't have any ideas at this point. Anyone know what the spec is for the 1232 on this item? I wasn't able to find that out, myself.
