I was adding these extensions to an existing group that was already 
set up. Group 4 was already set to ring group.
I waited for the pana guru's. At least they changed their music on hold 
so that doesn't bore you to death while your waiting and waiting and 
waiting. Additional function area 6 bit 7 set to 0. This allows incoming 
calls for groups to extensions that have their forwarding on to receive 
the group call. You also have to make sure that extension is logged in 
(itcm 451). I want to thank all that helped.
     Here is another issue. How do you get the old dos programs to run 
on win xp. I guess I should scrub that idea and use the winders program 
for the older td1232.  I have a new notebook with no serial ports. I 
tried using a usb to serial dongle but it is very unstable. Your damned 
if you do and your damned if you don't. It would be nice to use one 
notebook for the old and new systems.
