Interesting. I've had serivce for about a year and only had two problems 
recently where the called persons audio went out after about 5 min of 
talking. A sipura firmware update fixed that.
Can't address the VM thing - I don't use it - but the fwd-no/ans works 
great.
I do support multiple lines on sipura.
I did port over my numbers.
And the additional fees I am charged are just taxes (the same as Vonage)

It's possible that the network is different in different parts of the 
country - I'm in CA. I also call a local Los Angeles number for tech 
support - they actually went into my sipura and initiated the firmware 
update for me.

I guess it's like all the new comapanies out the there - YMMV - I just 
dislike Vonage from my experience that I offered what I think of as a 
better and less expensive option to John.
