Subject: Re: KX-T: Caller ID Routing?

Later versions of td and tvs passed caller id to the vm, which could
route calls. i know the -5 and -6 could to the tvs50 -2, not sure about
the later tvs1xx and 2xx. Was about the time pano abandoned the tvs.

helpful hint for running tools on later m$ laptops.

Make a bootable thumbdrive with dos on it. set bios to boot 1-usb,
2-ide0. no thumbdrive- boots "normal". with thumbdrive on powerup-
boots dos.
required- laptop has a real (in bios option) serial port (9 pin on
back). windos 7.00 (what w98 really boots with ;-) works fine with pano
dos tool at 19.2

frys has/had a $350 GQ laptop they sell around school year beginning.
google mkbt.exe for util to copy boot record to thumbdrive, you have
everything else you need. nice to take thumbdrive to shop and archive
cust setup files.
