Hi Everyone .... Drove 8 hours to Maine from NY to replace a KX-T616 with a new
KX-TA824. When I connected the USB to my laptop with software version 2 [used
last week on another install with no problem] I kept getting an error message
that the software version was not compatible with the Hardware.
I changed the Panasonic directory name and reinstalled the software using the
disk that came with the new KSU and got the same resulting error message. Has
anyone had this problem and how did you solve it?
I did get this last year when the version of the software went from 1.1 to 2.0
but installing the new version over the old solved it immediately. This time,
I tried over the old and a clean new install. Now I will have to go back up to
Maine when I solve the problem. His Satellite internet wasn't working so I had
no connections for help.
