If I remember correctly the TVA50 can be operated with 4 ports if you install an additional port card. However I remember reading that ports 3 & 4 can only be set up for In band integration.
As far as the TA824 is concerned, it needs to be version 3 in order for 4 ports to work 7&8, 15&16. Ports 15 & 16 of course are on the additional co line card with lines 4 through 6 and extensions 9 through 16. Donald R.
