Normally if the call is transferred to another extension, CID will not show
if the person transferring stays on the line to announce the call.  If they
transfer the call and then hang up, the CID should show up at the ringing

I probably need to clarify my last question.  The 1232-1 is answered  by 
receptionist.  Her phone is the only one that rings.  She transfers  it to
another 
phone.  Will the caller ID show up on phone that is receiving  transfered 
call.  Some have said phone had to be programed to ring on  incoming to see
ID.  
It seems on older releases there was a problem.   I can't remember.  I don't

want to find out hard way.
