We deployed our first KX-TDE system. We have a strong background in
networking/data. Its using regular CO lines for the moment. Panasonic Tech's
say the SIP Trunking is not fully supported. How the hell can this be when they
covered it during training? The V-SIPGW16 Card is available in programming, you
can get licenses for it, but they wont support it or even document it? (Doc's
are devoid of all info on the V-SIPGW16

Has anyone had success setting up SIP Trunks using ITSP's?? (One of the major
bullet points in the KXTDE sales materials by the way...). Unless there is
something technically preventing its use, I dont see why we cant set it up.
Only problem is some of the lingo on the card's port configuration is slightly
different than normal SIP trunk provider lingo so Im not sure where to match
some of the values up. Oddly, the H.323 and SIP trunk diagnostic tools in the
Utility menu appear to be non-functional too so it makes it impossible to
troubleshoot any value mistakes in the config.

We can do it all day long in Asterisk or other platforms, but this is
perplexing on the reverse course here by pana. H.323 trunks seem to be
available, but more places support SIP trunks then H.323 Trunks.

If any dealers with knowledge in this area want to collaborate here, im open to
it...
