No. You must use "Y" cables on the VPS and set the secondary drive as slave.
Then there is a command that allows you to copy from one to the other.

Everything that is anything is on the hard drive.  If you can still boot the
system, you can copy all to a new drive and this will be transparent to the
customer.

If not, you will have go get a pre-configured drive - AND record everything
from scratch.

May have been asked before, but...

The disk in my TVS100 "may" be dying or dead.  Can I simply replace it 
with a similar drive (same geometry) and reprogram -OR- not?
Meaning, is the system logic stored in ROM and the config and messages 
stored on disk?

Otherwise, what is the procedure to replace this? I already have the 
drive out...
