I moved into a flat last weekend that has a KX-TES824 system. It's reasonably familiar to me because we have a KX-T61610 system that I installed and programmed in our house, but of course the TES824 is much more modern. I have the manual and the programming software for the TES824 and plan to update the system next weekend, taking off the previous tenant's one button dial numbers and conforming the extension descriptions to current usage--no more "nursery," for example. It is also odd that dialing 9 selects CO3 instead of CO1, and that needs to change because I'll drop from three outside lines to just one.

If you have any general suggestions, cautions or warnings about updating this system please let me know!

Thanks,

Chris
