analog kxt616 and kxt1232 will not support caller id
in any way,  duhh, except call-waiting caller id will
pass thru during a conversation ;-)

think about this.  capacitively couple the co lines to
an amplifier. feed that signal to the music input. set
the extension to bgm "on". parallel connect your cid
box to that extension.   how.it.works  cid comes in,
gets fed to bgm, the set with bgm on gets it's bgm
from the talk pair, and the parallel connected cid box
gets the cid tone from the same talk pair.  there are
problems with this, can you list them?  ;-O
