Is any one successfully and happily running sort of a mini hold queue with a TVS200/1232?

Is there any way that the caller can hear hold music while they are in the TVS200 call hold queue?

We have our TVS200/1232-3 system set up, and if an extension doesn't answer, they get "to try another extension press 2, to leave a message press one."   If the extension is busy they get "to hold press one, for more options press 2".  If they press one to hold, the line goes dead (because the TVS never releases the call).    Is there a way to do some kind of a blind forward/transfer so that if the caller hits two it does goes on 1232-3 hold instead of TVS200 hold?

For one thing callers holding are tying up our ports.  For another thing the TVS200 hold not really all that useful---it will only try ringing the port at certain intervals, so at the default of 20 seconds, I can hang up my phone and not hear the holding caller ring for 20 seconds.  That means by then I've made or answered a new call.

Thanks for your advice
