OK, am I stupid or does the D308 NOT use a nul modem cable? I've only done 2
other D308's and they were a while ago.
I tried all combinations with my regular nul modem cable and couldn't even
get smdr. (yet the TVS50 programmed fine). (and I didn't bring my usually
assortment of cables and adapters.)
I tried the Pana software, Programmator, and HyperTerminal.
My Pana software would not even let me go to Com 1, so I'm not sure what's
up with that, it only gave a choice of com 2. ( I know I asked about that in
another post but I forget the answers, it's been a long couple of weeks).
The ol' fingers on ext. 101 got me through it all, but something's not right
here.
