In the PBX dialing parameters, set the extension and operator transfer
sequence to FXA, the default is FX. I think that is what will stop it from
saying "you have a call".
Here are some other prompts and settings I always try to change in the TVS
(75,100,200) --different prompt numbers in the TVS50
PROMPTS to change or delete
Dial into mailbox 998, Then -5-6-1-1 then select the prompt and delete
258 "you have"
313 "to make this message private"
354 "please wait a moment"
363 "sorry, no one is available to answer the call"
370 "calling the operator"
371 "call transferred from the VPS"
374 "you have a call"
375 "you have a call from"
Make sure you have set up the system and menus to use User 1 prompt.
Also, I always disable "returning to top level" and "operator transfer" in
the individual mailboxes in the "incomplete handling status" ("leaving a
message" is the only one left turned on). That stops callers from hearing
too many options when they finally get connected to a mailbox.
