We use the MOH input mainly for a weather radio. No one has ever complained about
listening to the forecast, we have received a few positive comments about it, and as
is pointed out below, any station phone can here the forecast at any time by pressing
1.
During local emergencies (fires or floods) I change the MOH input to a fire/police
scanner. Mainly, I do that for us, so we can listen at our desks, but the callers are
always intrigued by it as well.
The coolest MOH app I have heard was a company where, when put on hold, you were able
to pick your genre, (Press one for rock, press 2 for country, press 3 for jazz...)
