I have a KXTD1232 and a TVS50 with all Panasonic phones, some analog and some digital.
I have 3 voicemail boxes set up for our customers to leave messages after hours,
press 1 for this, 2 for that, etc. Each box points to its respective ext, i.e. box
101 has ext 101 associated with it so the message waiting light will come on. I have
a number of employees that I would also like to have their own mailbox, say box# 200
for myself. I'd like to be able to have my employees transfer a call to my box(200)
if I'm not there. You know like this, "I'm sorry but he isn't in, I'll transfer you to
his voice mail" I'd like the employee to be able to quickly transfer the call
directly to that box. One problem I seem to have during our day is that we only have
voicemail answer after 30 seconds of not answering on all our phones. We prefer to
answer our calls personally. When I've tried kludge methods of transferring calls the
voicemail ext. would ring for 30 seconds before answering. This seems like an
eternity to the caller. Any thoughts?
