Note of Caution....
When installing CID 193 cards in a 1232 digital system, make sure the first
CID card is NOT at the top of the system's CO board... if it IS in the top
position, your CID board is connected to CO's 5,6,7,8.
Simply move the CID board to the lower of the two positions.... then your
card will be connected to CO's 1, 2, 3, 4.
If you've got a dash 2, 3, or 4, your CID information will be displayed on
any telephone that the CO is programmed to ring on. ...and, yes, you
have to turn ON CID in the LINE settings screen.
That should do it.
