Hi, Jordan...

Any customer who tries to use a VS50 with an old 616 is a good prospect for
a new A624 or D816.

We are an "out of state" dealer and strongly warn any prospective user of a
TVS50/616 combo that he will HATE it. There is no message waiting
indication, and system setup and transferring calls to mailboxes is a big
PITA.

Do your customer a favor and sell him a new KSU, and maybe some new phones
and Caller ID, too. The old 616 is fine for a vacation home or a boat or a
cab company, or sell it on ebay.

FWIW, recent 123211 KSUs have voice mail integration (which is why the
123211 is listed in the setup menu for the VPS), but ana 308s and 616s don't
have integration.

Subject: KX-T: TVS50 with 61610 KSU integration?

> I have a customer that has a KXT 61610 KSU and was sold a TVS50 by a
dealer from out of state. I noticed in the TVS50 manual that it does not
show a integration for a 61610 but does show the analog 123211.
>
> Has anyone been able to integrate these 2 successfully? If so, do you
have any documentation that describes the integration or do you choose
123211 and change the same items on the 61610 as it shows for the 123211;
i.e. hunt groups.
