Find out if it is the # or a digit combination that makes it cut off. If
it's just the digits, then he can change his password.

If the # is the problem, then Mike Sandman has a DTMF TONE GENERATOR

You can program this unit to send a # in response to other digits.  If he
can call in on a specific co that has this device on it, then program
something like ** to equal a # so he would enter his password and **.  I
don't know if the trigger tones you enter will be retransmitted or not. If
they are, then he could set the trigger to be the same as his password,
presumably then entering his password would cause the # to be sent.

I haven't used it myself but most of Mike Sandman's stuff is pretty
reliable, you can always call him to check if it will do the job right. $50
