Had a very odd call receipt today.
I was placing a call out, the phone rang a couple of times, got a single
beep tone, and then dead air. I assumed that I was on hold with the company
I was calling. So I waited.
All of a sudden, a guy says "Hello". I ask if it's such and such a company.
He replies "no I was calling amy at extension 108. Who are you?" He says he
was not given the option to enter the extension 108 of Amy. He just found
himself waiting for an answer.
My phone (101) is set for all forwarding to my cell phone. Amy's line (108)
was not forwarded. We have recorded a company message that lists our
extensions. We are running in AA mode with our lines 1:1 to ext 165. The
system consists of a KXTD1232-4 with a VPS200.
Anybody heard of this before?
