I am trying to contribute to the Arabic translation of LibreOffice,
however I cannot save any changes that I make. I have created an
account here and can log in to start to edit strings, but there is
no way to save them. When I click "next" the change is lost.
Any ideas?
You need to have rights to be able to save your changes. Please ask
the persons listed on this table, they are admins of your language and
can give you the corresponding rights.
This is mentioned as point 4 of "How to start" on our Pootle home page:
| 4. Get the necessary permissions from the leads of your language
project (contact the list below if the project does not exist or its
lead is not specified)
However, the situation we're in is a bit weird. Our Language Teams wiki
page says that the lead for Arabic is Benmohamed Ayoub, but the only
user with access to Arabic is El Achèche Anis (both cc'ed). Is this
expected?
Marwan, I've just granted you the rights to suggest translations, but
these will have to be reviewed and accepted/rejected by El Achèche Anis.
If he doesn't mind though, he (or I) can grant you more rights.
