If widening the list-boxes will only leave a small (let's say <10px) gap towards the right side of the "Standard" button, then the listboxes (both font selection and font size selection) might be enlarged to fill this gap. For the user, it would require slightly more mouse-travel (and maybe minimal inefficiencies when scanning the horizontal elements), but it would look more sane.
