Well, that's making the bold assumption people (anyone not a developer) actually *use* them. Has anyone actually ever done any research cause my own (anecdotal) evidence would point to the opposite. Few enough people use system shortcuts like ctrl c/v, never mind ALT+f to open a file or something.

Unfortunately, the best way is to manually define each shortcut, dialog by dialog.

Now, since this is very cumbersome, a tool to map each dialog with pootle file/section is a must.
