The functions are CHIDIST / CHISQDIST and CHIINV / CHISQINV. As I understand it the CHIDIST and CHIINV is there for backwards compatibility. Historically the function has been translated as CHI2FÖRD and newer translations are the same. Looking at Excels translations they use the same translation, CHI2FÖRD, for the legacy function CHIDIST as well as the new function name CHISQDIST. The same applies to the translations of CHIINV and CHISQINV that translates to CHI2INV.
Now I suppose I could make up a new function name like CHIKVADFÖRD but that does not seem like a good solution since the function is normally referred to as chi2-fördelning in statistics and not chikvadratfördelning. And if I do change the name of one of the functions which one, the old or the new?
