Could it be be possible to improve error detection by Pootle ? For example if the number of pairs "<emph> </emph>" are not identical in the reference text and the translated text it is seen as XML errors of the same level as not closed xml tags or misspelled tags. And if you want to keep the same number of pairs of "<emph> </emph>" in help texts, the French translation you get is often not clear. That makes translation's reviewing very painful. Best regards.
