Just to be clear -- I haven't uploaded any .srt files, or even ever used them :-) I simply pasted the original script into the YouTube video manager and asked it to sync up.
I have the suspicion that the YouTube video manager must prepare a .srt file from your script; You are asked to do the timings, right?
