In my defence, I didn’t link to the wrong commit. You have to keep the
exclamation mark at the end of the link for it to work. If the
exclamation mark is dropped then there is only ^ at the end and I guess
gittiles interprets that as asking for the parent of the chosen commit.
If you keep the exclamation mark then it shows the right commit with a
diff to the parent.
