Hi folks,

While doing some translation I noticed that a bunch of translations have
what looks like the wrong word to translate “outline”. This word is used
with two meanings, sometimes it is like an overview of something and
sometimes it is the contours of a shape. When confronted with the string
in Weblate it’s very hard to find the context for the string so of
course it’s totally understandable that sometimes the wrong meaning is
assumed.

For example:

The string “Show outline” for dlg_InsertDataTable is a toggle button to
decide whether to show the table border lines if you have a chart
selected and you click Insert->Data table.

In French this is translated as “Afficher le plan” and in Basque it is
“Erakusti eskema”. Both of these seem quite likely to be the wrong
translation.

For the other sense there is “Click the outline style that you want to
use” as the extended tip for the dialog that lets you choose a bullet
point style. In Galicien this is “Prema no estilo de contorno que quere
usar” and in Romanian it is “Dați clic pe stilul de contur pe care vreți
să îl utilizați”. Both of them contain a word that looks like “contour”
and so might be wrong.

I added some translator comments to a bunch of these strings in
tdf#173043. If you want to verify your translations, you could check
all the strings in this list:

Happy translating!
