my2cents for download the clip w. subtitles for using off-line:
youtube-dl --all-subs --embed-subs "https://youtu.be/g54FPnBmvOs";
vlc "Become a member of The Document Foundation-g54FPnBmvOs.mp4" then
chose the sub language ;)
