Hi, honestly I don't know when the test build (i.e., preparing the test versions) will start, but my recommendation would be that you continue anyway, keeping the "helpcontent2" folder last (it has less priority, focus on the UI, i.e., all other folders, first) and, of course, keeping basic/source/app.po untranslated.
Everything you do will of course be used for the next version if not in this one. So far the next version is 4.0, scheduled for April, but we haven't a precise planning yet.
