Hola Javier and Clytie, I've been very busy these months with my job and doing the paperwork to get married with my vietnamese girlfriend. Official wife now. :-)

Congratulations to you both. May you have long life, health and happiness (and unbelievably cute kids like mine). :D

Anyway, the reason of my email is let you know that due that Vietnamese has been classified as Western Language in the Openoffice 2.3, now the HUNSPELL dictionary that can be found the the OpenOffice dictionaries list works very good now. I've created a small forge here with SVN and wiki to improve the spellchecker (substitution rules, add new words to the dictionary, etc)

Here is the forge and tutorial about how to install the spellchecker.

Thanks, Ivan. I can't I can't send the screenshots to the list, but we can put them up online if necessary. Did you translate the Software Freedom Day article, or is that from one of our LUGs? (It's good. :) )

We need to put this info up on the vi.openoffice.org website.

I got some amazing news today: the government is going to switch to OpenOffice.org !

It makes all our effort worthwhile.
