Hello,
i am using win xp pro as l2tp server and
rp-l2tp-0.3 als client.
My pppd is ppp-mppe-2-4-0-4 (With microsoft
authentication)
Now i have seen, that pppd sends some plain text
messages over the netowrk during authentication like: "looking for secret in
/etc/ppp/chap-secret" ...
But the XP server dislikes these telegrams very
much and aborts the connection.
So i have now removed all "printf" statements in
auth.c of the pppd package and all works fine. But this seems to be not the
optimum solution for me. Is there a different possibility?
