Hi, I'm having problems using a Cisco VPN client over an L2TP tunnel.
I'm running Mandrake 9.1. I use L2TPD-0.69 to connect to my local ISP. Via that tunnel I should be able to connect to my work's VPN with the Cisco VPN client 3.7. Everything installs fine and after some newbie problems with the L2TP tunnel, I'm having a good connection with my ISP. However, the VPN client refuses work. After running vpnclient the kernel reports: "unknown mac header length (8)" in the syslog. I haven't got a clue as how to correct this, so I hope somebody on this list can help. Google has proven (quite extraordinary) unhelpful. The only reference I found was from someone using PPPoE, so that wasn't much help.
