Found out the problem, there seem to be a problem with one of Jacco's
patch for L2TPD.

The strange thing is, I had the same problem without the pty patches, IIRC. What distribution of Linux are you using? Some people using Debian reported pty problems. Again, IIRC, the only way one person could get it to work was using my Red Hat binary RPM processed through alien...
