But in any case, how do I run the C preprocessor on my wristwatch from my Linux machine? The wristwatch doesn't *have* a C preprocessor.
You are joking with me, right? Ever heard of a cross-compiler? Note that sizeof() is an expression, and cannot be used in either an ifdef or a type declaration. So simply don't use it, figure it out at runtime. Little boy, I was working on GCC right about the time you were learning to read your first picture book. Do not pontificate to *me* about who GCC is for. From Richard I will take that (without, I might add, taking it terribly seriously). He has earned the right, because much of the earliest version of GCC was his work. What are *you* contributing (other than complaints and whining)? Oh please, now you are just playing a dickhead. You might want to figure out what the heck the goal of the GNU project is. It sure as hell isn't to run on non-free systems, or running on non-GNU systems. As for what I contribute, figure it out yourself, I haven't seen your contributions, so I could ask the same of you, but I won't since it has no relevance. If you continue this idiotic crap I'll just refrain from answering and forward your messages into /dev/null untill you get a remote clue about how to conduct a discussion. _______________________________________________ L4-hurd mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/l4-hurd
