Hi, L4DMapper list!

I wouldn't normally start a new topic with the spotlight on myself but
this seemed like an exception. Next Tuesday (September 10), "Beldurra 2",
the campaign sum-total of my efforts over the last 34 months, will be
publicly released on the L4D2 Steam Workshop and L4DMaps.com!

*Story: *
The infection has left more than a wake of dead in the city of Beldurra.
Something big is living there now, and whatever it is brings down the
Survivors' chopper as they attempt to fly over. Survivors will make their
way from the wilderness, through the city, and finally to an original
gauntlet finale in which players will have to defend a raft, from hordes
and a a boss infected.

Features original textures, sounds, music and gameplay mechanics
(lockpicking, building stations for molotovs/pipe bombs, etc.)
Additionally, every map has been aggressively optimized so that even large
outdoor areas keep running at high framerates without sacrificing detail.

Other alterations to gameplay are done via custom scripting. There are
more common infected and dewer SI overall, affording Survivors a little
more opportunity to engage their surroundings and plan out their
progression on harder levels. The custom populations also bring a more
"arcade" feel to the campaign while still encouraging cooperation to
complete tasks more quickly.

Anyway, hope to see you all there. Shoot me a line if anyone's interested
in a pre-release preview play. If you lived here, you'd be dead by now!

Best luck on all your maps!
