The Free Trade Area of the Americas is the latest globalization effort by
corporations and governments in the Western Hemisphere. The FTAA aims to
extend the NAFTA "free trade zone" to 31 more countries from Alaska to
Argentina. It will make it easier for corporations to move jobs, increase
profits and privatize public utilities and services. It will also increase
the Race To The Bottom for workers, families and the environment. Learn
more about it in this one day teach-in, then Join the Struggle to Stop The
FTAA!
