There's an Asian American movement book just out from UCLA's Asian American Studies Center Press. It is huge, with hundreds of photos and graphics and long articles, very accessible to students, and spans 322 pages. It should become quite popular. It's Asian Americans: The Movement and the Moment, edited by Steve Louie and Glenn Omatsu. (Incidentally, I have a chapter in it on early gay Asian organizing) There's also a great piece on anti-war Vietnamese students in the U.S. in the 1960s...plus lotsa amazing documents, graphics and accounts of movement participation.
