Stanley Kwan, a gay film director from Hong Kong, appears at UCLA with a new film Thursday Oct. 4 at 7:30 pm at the James Bridges Theater. Part of a Hong Kong Neon film series all week.
Other films include Gen-X Cops (cute guys) and Lawrence Ah Mon's Spacked Out, about adolescent girls, including two who are lesbian. He is known for his 1988 film (Gangs) about lost-boys.
