Dear human rights community,
It is with great reluctance that I need to announce that the Palestinian Film and Cultural Series is being postponed until further notice. I need to tend to my health needs as well as to the management of a pressing family matter involving the health of a close family member. I look forward to continuing the series in a few months when the current pressures have abated. Human rights work and the ongoing struggle for social justice is a marathon, not a sprint, and sometimes we need to stop to catch our breath. If you are interested in participating in the production of cultural events on social justice themes, in support of Palestinian labor, activists and artists, please contact me so that we can include you in planning efforts in the near future. Thanks to everyone for coming out to events and supporting human rights. Peace with justice and above all else, love, Emma Rosenthal Cafe Intifada L.A.
